Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Youthful and pale colour. Fine brightness. Good purity on the nose. Very much stony, mineral expression. There is a fine backbone of barely ripe stone fruit. With hints of fresh lemon and lime, some ginger, some spicy notes. Very fine purity. More elegant and restrained in style. Very good bite on the palate this is within the medium-bodied frame but good flavour intensity here. It is still youthful with a slightly lean character. I like the purity of fruit here. There is a good extract with those slightly spicy notes of ginger and lemon zest. Elegant, stone fruity flavours. Very long and persistent finish. With a good grip, salivating and mineral finish. Very much what I look for in the purity of Resiling. Just like the vintage, it is still youthful and restrained, appearing a bit lean. I really like it for its purity and length. Certainly a wine that should develop really finely.
