Weingut Andreas & Christine Wendelin – Barrique Poet Zwergacker – 2009

Generous and sweet nose with hints of patisserie (fresh baked pastry), vanilla and fruit confiture (jam) , the nose indicates ripeness, but the palate is somewhat more restrained with red fruited character, some spicy and herbal notes, still a touch young with present tannins and extraction, should mellow with further ageing.
