Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Medium-deep, ruby-red colour, still youthful with a hint of purple. Generous nose, offering quite ripe fruit here. A mix of red and dark berries, a lot of cherry fruit, mild spiciness. Well-rounded texture. It is still a youthful wine. Medium weight, but already rounded, with quite soft tannin. There is a nice spiciness here. Combining both some peppery notes and dried herbs, with juicy cherry fruit. Good level of acidity. Quite long on the finish as well. I find this wine quite attractive today, and I think this should be best enjoyed in its fair youth for its juicy fruit and good level of drinkability. I particularly like that spiciness on the finish.
