Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Medium to deep ruby red colour. Some evolution, nothing blue or purple in there. The nose is generous. Quite intense fruitiness here, with notes of red and dark berries, such as redcurrant, red and black currant with some plum. Some dried spices and a hint of aromatic herbs, slight hint of mint. No noticeable oak really. Palate has medium weight. Quite dense texture. Good fruit concentration here. There is a quite rich amount of tannin but I think they are about to integrate right now. So a quite tannic style, but well rounded. Freshness is there as well. So quite bright acidity. Finish is quite on the longer side. And it feels like it is rather well-balanced today and should certainly have a potential to continue to develop for six to eight years, something. It is starting to show off quite nicely today. Well-integrated oak, good length, good proportions.
