Austria,
Steiermark,
Still very pale and youthful, no colour intensity. Slight presence of CO2. Fine purity on the nose here. There is floral and some herbal notes, barely ripe green apple, lemon and lime. The palate is on the lighter side, but it does have a good grip. I would say, a more restrained style of Sauvignon, with an emphasis of minerality. Some hints of crushed apple, fresh almond, with a dash of that herbal spiciness. Fresh lemon and lime. So light weight but good flavour intensity and purity of fruit. Quite long finish and well defined freshness. It offers pleasure now, if you like the firm and restrained style. It should certainly loosen up a little bit and offer some more pleasure and roundness in the coming three or four years.
