Austria,
Steiermark,
Youthful colour here. Approaching light golden, still with a fine brightness. Generous nose. Intense. Really goes in the direction of Chardonnay with fresh butter, almond, nuts. I think there is a slight hint of oak there, but quite in the background. Just a slight hint of toast. In terms of fruitiness it is quite ripe. Rather on the yellow stone fruity side, with some peach. Good grip on the palate. Quite opulent and generous in terms of fruitiness. Bold structure, but with a well-retained freshness. On the taste, the presence of oak is certainly confirmed. Gently roasted in the background, but well-integrated. Some roasted hazelnut, fairly long finish. Fairly drinkable today. Quite enjoyable style. Rich and opulent and again well-retained freshness.
