Dark core with a ruby hue. The nose shows fine nuance and blends ripe dark fruit, cassis and plum with a light smokiness, coffee, fine oak and dried herbs. The palate is dense, still with a youthful but ripe texture, layers of crushed berries, red currant, cherry and plum with some tobacco and roasted notes, and a long and vigorous finish. Still deserving some further time to soften but a nice potential.
