Inky dark purple core. Intense toastiness but nicely done with hints of coffee bean, smoke, ripe dark berries, plum and leather. Very dense and concentrated palate, a tannic bite but no hard edges, still on the youthful side, but lush dark fruit, fine oak on the palate and a long dense finish. Certainly room for improvement but already rather enjoyable in a well-balanced modern and dense style.
