Inky dark purple core. Modern nose, yet nuanced with roasted new oak, ripe dark fruit, mild spices, pepper and some meaty notes. Very good grip on the palate, dense dark fruit, still youthful with high but ripe tannin, fine oak, some vanilla and creamy notes with peppery dark fruit and a long dense finish. Still needing some time to soften.
