Austria,
Burgenland,
The colour has a quite deep intensity, towards deep golden, still with a fine brightness. The nose is indicating a lot of ripeness, botrytis affection. Again with good purity, good definition. There is a wealth of ripe, tropical fruit there. Mango, pineapple, yellow plum, banana, honey. At the same time there is something adding freshness in there. Hint of green, like pine nuts, lime zest. Quite complex, still youthful but with a good level of complexity. Very dense on the palate. Quite low alcohol but high concentration of fruit. Richness. There is a high sweetness here, but it does not appear sticky on the palate. It will continue to develop and loose some of that anxious sweetness, gaining more complexity as it ages. However, I think it is already quite enjoyable wine with those glazed apricot, ripe banana. There is a mild acidity but again it appears balanced. It has a very long and anxious finish. I would say a very classical style of Austrian Trockenbeerenauslese.
