Germany,
Franken,
Very youthful, quite a pale colour. More on the green then yellow side. Generous nose, good purity there with some smashed apple and pear, with lemon zest, lime. Also with a slight notion of chalky minerality. Attractive palate. Feels like a slight hint, no it is quite dry, but I think the fruit is ripe rounded and generous. Good combination of this really vibrant and elevated acidity. I would say typical from the vintage. Gives good tension. The fruit is quite anxious in terms of ripe pear, apple. It is a light to medium weight, but still with a quite good length. It keeps lingering for a while, so attractive and well balanced for an early drinking.
