Medium deep ruby red colour with some maturity. Nuanced nose with fine layers of ripe red fruit like cherry, raspberry, gingerbread spices and finely toasted oak. Rather dense texture but with a nice polish and grainy tannin, ripe red fruit notes with a fresh acidity underneath, and a long and grippy finish. Nice balance and drinkability today but still with potential for further ageing.
