Germany,
Franken,
Bright colour with a slight green hue, very pale golden. Pure nose. Nice intensity, still very youthful with quite tropical fruit I would say. Yellow fruit, ripe citrus, there is also something buttery, creamy. There is some nutty nose like fresh almond, fresh butter. Very distinct. Bone-dry with a mouth-watering acidity. Really crisp but well balanced. Because it starts out in a quite firm and lean, in a positive sense, but on the finish there is more of that buttery, yellow fruit coming. It has a good length, it is really persistent on the palate. Not really an aromatic variety, but it still got nice and beautiful fruit. Well-structured and it drinks truly well right now. It has a potential for some ageing for four, five, six years anything in the direction, depending on what you like. So, a fine result.
