Austria,
Burgenland,
There is some development here of colour. Medium deep ruby-red. Good intensity on the nose here. Pure fruit, combining red and dark berries here. Some blackberry, white pepper, some ginger and clove as well. Fine spiciness, discreet oak. Good grip on the palate. This would fall somewhere between medium to full-bodied. Good density of fruit but quite loose texture here, with grainy tannin. Good freshness with bright, dark fruit flavours. There are some floral components a lot of freshly ground pepper here, some dried aromatic herbs. Long and juicy finish. Good drinkability today. Good proportion, and should have a fine potential for further development.
