Dark and dense core. Quite ripe nose of dark fruit - cassis, blackberry with ground spices and some new oak. Good volume on the palate, plenty of extract, abundant but balanced tannin, fresh dark fruit and spicy notes of ginger and liquorice, well integrated oak, good length and substance.
