Austria,
Burgenland,
Light golden colour here, bright. Fine nose here. I like this combination of quite cool but still ripe fruit. Such as yellow stone fruit, fresh pear. There is a slight hint of nuttiness and butter, buttery notes. Very fine oak as well. Just an elegant toastiness in the background. Good bite on the palate. I would say quite Burgundian style because it is really bone-dry. Balanced acidity, but it is really leaving the palate salivating with a nice mineral sensation on the finish. Good grip. Fine extract without appearing bitter. Just those notes of citrus or lemon zest. Elegant stone fruit. Good substance as well. Finish is really long and lingering. Definitely a really well-made wine. Fine drinkability right now. Obviously a wine that should keep for a few years, but I find it pretty delicious already.
