Intense dark ruby colour with a purple hue. Youthful nose, spicy dark fruit, still needing air to open, some meaty notes, plum, cassis and dry spices. The palate is dense and weighty, still on the youthful side but no hard edges, savoury dark fruit, fine oak, some butterscotch, and a long and lively finish.
