Weingut Mad – Marienthal – 2009

A modern styled wine with a rich nose displaying new oak, spices, coffee, leather and dark fruit, the palate is dense and tight with dark fruity notes, blackberry and spice, yet not over extracted, good length, still young and as yet unresolved, should get another year in the cellar or a thorough aeration before serving.
