Youthful dark purple hue. Rather ripe and sweet nose of dark fruit, prune, roasted oak and coffee bean. The palate is dense and ample, sweet fruit with gingerbread spices, a hint of oak and well-lifted acidity, good length, a powerful wine still needing time to soften and gain harmony.
