Youthful appearance here, quite pale straw colour with a green tinge. Beautiful purity on the nose, combining some mineral notes of crushed rocks with barely ripe, tropical fruit, like fresh pineapple, mango, ginger, lemongrass. Indicating sweetness, but really with a beautiful purity and stoniness. Beautiful purity on the taste as well. I really like that delicious, youthful yellow fruit. Mouth-watering acidity, almost with a salty minerality if you could say that. Mouth-watering. Fairly light in terms of body, but flavour intense. This one is balanced by a certain sweetness. It is rather on a Spatlese level. Really on the finish it is more about freshness. Truly long finish, excellent purity and definition. Wine that is beautiful to drink now, but will keep for many more years.
