Austria,
Niederosterreich,
The colour is medium deep golden, quite evolved. The nose is also quite forward in terms of evolution. There is a high degree of ripeness here, suggesting sweetness, with hints of honey and wax. With ripe stone fruit. Very floral and aromatic with some ripe citrus, sweet ginger as well. Fresh butter. Good grip on the palate here. A lot of extract, but finely integrated. It gives a zest spiciness. With hints of lemon and ginger. Ripe stone fruit there, offering a slightly lush and tropical flavour to it all. It is underlined by a very nice freshness. Good length. Very distinct. Still youthful, but it already has some nuance and complexity. I would happily drink it today but it should certainly have a quite long life ahead of it.
