Austria,
Burgenland,
Quite youthful appearance here, still slightly purple hue, moderate colour intensity. Pure nose, displaying some peppery notes, hint of new oak. Dark plum, with red berries and some dried spices. Palate has a quite full body, but also a quite vibrant freshness here. Good level of acidity. Tannins feel fairly integrated. There is a good juiciness to it. Again I would talk about the drinkability here. Not the boldest or fattest example, but it does have a good length and distinct spiciness in combination with those fresh red berries and dark plum, makes it a really good drink. It shows well now, but it should certainly have the potential for six to eight years. Yeah, I really like the drinkability in this one.
