Austria,
Niederosterreich,
Developed colour, light ruby-red with a slightly orange hue. It shows some development. Fine nose here. With a good deal of sweetness. In here I find some rose petal, sweet raspberry, almost with a hint of confiture, red plum. Mild spices; such as vanilla, clove, some orange zest. Good grip on the palate. It is medium weight but it is perfectly rounded in texture. It has a quite mellow and well-integrated acidity. With sweet red fruit character, some spicy notes almost with a hint of caramel, cinnamon and cardamom. Fine integration of oak as well. No tannins to talk about. So really rounded and soft. I think this has some maturity. It is far from young. So a bit more complexity is emerging towards the finish. Quite long aftertaste. Elegant, polished and rounded style with a very good drinkability today and over the coming four to six years.
