Germany,
Wurttemberg,
Colour is dense. It is a dense core dark ruby, it appears to have a certain evolution as it is losing some of that blue-purple, a bit lighter on the rim. Dark fruity notes, with dark berries, plum, cassis, there is a lot of spiciness as well. Like dried spices, pepper, clove and a gentle hint of oak. Well-balanced palate, it is a dense wine with quite a lot of tannin and extract, but it appears to have softened a little bit. It appears a few years old. Attractive fruit, I mean the combination of those dark berries, dark plum, with balanced acidity. Quite high acidity I would say. Rather long finish with peppery notes. Juicy with a good drinkability right now, yet with a potential to develop for a few more years.
