Fairly dark colour with a purple hue. Sweet nose offering dried fruit, prune, figs, leather and sweet berries. The palate is rather full and robust, still youthful with grippy tannin, sweet and dried fruit flavours with some herbal spiciness and a fairly long finish. Still a bit backward and tannic needing time to open.
