Medium deep ruby red with some development on the rim. Pure nose with some development and aged complexity, dried fruit, prune, licorice, tobacco and wood notes. Medium weight on the palate, a slight tannic backbone and balanced acidity, a mature wine with some complexity and fine length to enjoy today.
