Inky dark purple colour starting to lose the purple. Spicy nose with pepper, clove and liquorice, darker fruit notes, like plum and blackberry with some new oak. Dense but polished palate, ripe tannin, savoury dark fruit and a bold spiciness, fine oak, and a long and nuanced finish. Nice drinkability, yet a modern and ripe style.
