France,
Bordeaux,
Medium deep ruby-red colour, still with a slight hint of purple, appearing quite youthful. Pure nose, with some floral hints. A touch of violet, wild berry fruit, quite a mix of red and dark berries, some sweet plum. More in the direction of Merlot it seems. Youthful on the palate, still with a slight tannic presence, tannic grip. So present extract, but beneath that there is pleasant sweet fruit. This should probably integrate within the coming year. It is a quite smooth and subtle style otherwise. No present oak. Classic unoaked, fresh and juicy medium-bodied style. With a medium long finish. It just needs another short time for the tannins to settle. From then on it should offer some nice pleasure.
