Greece,
Crete,
Deep golden colour here. Very intense nose. It has gotten some evolution, so it is complex. It is nutty, it is spicy with a lot of dried fruit. Tropical yellow fruit, with honey, hints of tobacco wood, dried spices. A lot of nuttiness, a lot of crushed nuts. Quite full palate with a high sweetness. Almost like a creamy texture thanks to that sweetness. On the palate I get more of that grapy sensation. Again like really, really sweet fresh grapes. Underlined by that complexity that has come with age. Those nutty, spicy notes. Quite mild acidity, but I think it does have a balance due to that nuttiness we find particularly on the taste now. Good length, good level of complexity, a really enjoyable wine.
