Inky dark purple core and hue. Ripe nose of darker fruit, plum and cherry with aniseed, pepper and tapenade notes, just a slight hint of oak. The palate is dense and concentrated but with a fresh acidity, digest young fruit, grainy tannin and a long layered finish.
