Greece,
Peloponnese,
Light golden colour here, fine intensity, fine brightness. Rather intense on the nose as well. Very much in the direction of buttery Chardonnay. So good purity of fruit here. The oak is not that present, it is rather the fruit that is showing opulence here. With those hints of fresh butter, yellow fruit, some nuttiness, fresh almond. Obviously a slight hint of oak in the background. Quite broad palate. Obviously, I feel a hint of oak, a bit more on the taste than on the nose. I would still say it is quite well-integrated here. We have lush tropical fruit here, with yellow plum, apricot, vanilla, some peppery notes on the finish. So a broad palate, with a medium towards long finish. Good freshness, modern vinification, well-made wine. I think the oak should integrate within the coming year become a bit more harmonious and then it should drink well in the coming two to three more years.
