Intense dark purple colour. Ripe dark fruit on the nose, cassis, plum, cherry, pepper, clove and some new oak. The palate is dense and youthful with layers of ripe dark berries, liquorice, pepper, tobacco and fine oak bringing a slight smokiness. Dense, long and vigorous finish. A big wine still needing time to develop and soften.
