Spain,
Castilla y Leon,
The colour has medium-deep intensity. It still appears quite youthful with blue-purple nuance. The nose is spicy and oaky. There is an element of liquorice and anise seed. There is generous degree of roasted oak, with a mix of plum and red berry fruit. The palate has medium weight with attractive and juicy fruit. The oak feels slightly more integrated on the palate, than on the nose. It is still youthful but the tannins already feel quite integrated. Good degree of freshness there. Quite crunchy, good acidity with some juicy red berry fruit on the finish. Medium towards long. I would say good drinkability today and a potential for development in the coming five years.
