Bright light golden colour, a fine stream of small vivid bubbles. Pure and intense nose with some approaching maturity, and complexity, biscuity with brioche, fresh butter, nougat, ripe stone fruit – pear, peach, quince, chalk and ripe citrus. The palate is rather ample with a creamy mid-palate, ripe but with a well preserved freshness, layers of succulent stone fruit with some mature and autolytic flavours, long and persistent finish, well-built with good layers and potential for further development.
