Dense core with a mature ruby rim. Some aturity and complexity on the nose with balsamic huints, dry spices, red cherry, clove and dried herbs. Dense palate, just starting to soften in terms of texture, plentiful but ripe tannin with fresh red fruit flavours, pepper, garrigue and cedar wood long and lingering finish, approaching complexity, well done in a traditional long aged style.
