France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Medium deep colour here ruby-red but still transparent. Youthful nose with mostly primary fruit. No age or no oak ageing to talk about. Red berries, sweet plum and a slight spiciness of anise seed, liquorice. The taste is well-rounded, it is very juicy and subtle style, I would say. Well-rounded tannin, well-preserved acidity. Succulent red fruit. Again I like the term freshly crushed red berries because it offers that nicely mouth-watering sensation. Rounded tannin and medium weight but still quite long finish. More spiciness going on, on the finish. Some solid fresh herbs like garni or bouquet garni, with that juicy fruit. Very good drinkability today.
