Château d’Angles – Grand Vin – 2015

La Clape
MEDAILLE-TASTED-93-2024
France,
Languedoc Roussillon,
Deep purple core starting to soften. Fine nose, some development and complexity, fine oak and smoky notes with peppery, meaty and dark fruit hints. The palate is dense and savoury with high but ripe tannin, finely tuned oak, layers of red and dark berries with a bold spiciness, smoked meat, pepper, clove and tobacco. Good grip and a long dense finish. Nice already but should certainly develop well.
