Intense dark ruby core starting to lose the purple. Intense nose, youthful but nuanced displaying cigar box, leather, ripe dark fruit, cassis and plum. Dense palate, still a youthful texture and tannic bite, ripe dark fruit flavours, fine spices and a long vigorous finish, still however needing some more ageing to gain roundness and harmony.
