Dense dark core with a garnet-to-ruby rim. Pure and mature nose offering bright dark cabernet notes of cassis, plum, sage, bay leaf, cedar, tobacco, and mild oak. The palate combines density and freshness, with layers of crunchy dark fruit, having softened a bit, dry spice, fine wood and tobacco notes with an underlying vivid freshness, still present albeit ripe tannin leading to a long and savoury finish.
