Château La Croizille – 2015

Inky purple core, rather dense and viscous with a lighter ruby rim. Pure and intense nose with an approaching maturity, truffle, chalk, some roasted notes, unctuous dark fruit, crème de cassis, black cherry, and cocoa notes. Dense and ample palate with a fine polish, powdery tannin, sweet fruit but remaining dry, chalky freshness, meaty, pure and very long finish. Excellent drinkability today.
