Inky dark core and purple hue. The nose displays some new oak, fine leather, dark fruit, cassis and violet. Polished palate with good density and a ripe acidity, plenty of fine tannin giving lift, some oak-derived spice like butterscotch with crushed dark berries, cherry and cassis flavour leading to a long and muscular finish.
