France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a slightly developed colour here, medium towards deep ruby core, but much lighter, tawny towards the rim. Quite fine nose here with some roasted notes, roasted coffee beans, some hints of spices, some peppery clove; and a quite sweet fruitiness here, almost a hint of confiture, of red berries, plum. Palate has medium weight, with a quite high extraction here. We have a presence of tannin, a quite high acidity, and the fruit is a bit backward but still present there, offering a hint of that sweet red fruit on the aftertaste. Quite long on the finish; still now appearing a bit dry due to that presence of tannin and acidity, with some slight herbal notes on the finish. Doubtlessly a wine molded in a more traditional style with a need for some further aging to round off that acid and tannic sensation on the finish; but pretty good wine.
