France,
Bordeaux,
Developed colour here, with medium-deep ruby-red core, slightly tawny towards the rim. Developed colour. It is showing a lot of spiciness and some age complexity. There is leather, wet earth and beautiful note of black truffle, with some dried fruit. Mostly red berries. Gentle hint of oak. Nice palate, medium weight, with a good juiciness. I say this is already fairly rounded in terms of texture. Nothing angular or harsh here. Polished tannin with a good level of freshness. Mature and sweet fruit with slight hint of black truffle on the finish. Really attractive wine, with a good drinkability today. I would say already developed but should keep fairly well in a good cellar.
