Château La Pointe Chantecaille – 2020

Medium deep ruby with a mature rim. Pure nose displaying wild berries, plum, violet and a mild oak-derived spiciness like, vanilla and clove. Medium weight with rather dense fruit, refreshing tannin having softened and opened since my last tasting, elegant red fruit flavours with aniseed, pepper and tobacco leading on to a long finish.
