Bright dark purple core and hue. The nose is fragrant displaying violet, dark cherry, cassis with sage and mint notes. Dense but fresh palate with good harmony between savoury dark fruit, a nice herbal spiciness, grainy tannin and a bright acidity. Discreet wood in the background and a long lingering finish. Really good today but should be great in 5-8 years.
