Dense ruby core and a purple hue. Layered nose with some maturity and complexity, dark fruit, leather, tobacco, fine oak and some herbal notes. The palate is still youthful and dense with high extract, a slight tannic presence, plum and cassis with fine spices and a long finish. Nice cornerstones, just needing some more time to soften.
