Still a dark purple core with a lighter ruby rim. Some maturity on the nose, ripe and darker fruit notes with cocoa, mild oak, mocha and tobacco. Rather an ample palate, still a slight tannic presence but nicely spicy dark fruit, some herbaceous notes, and a long finish, which could still soften a bit from further aging.
