France,
Bordeaux,
Red wine with a medium-deep ruby-red nuance. Modern nose here, showing some roasted wood, some smoky notes, spiciness and quite sweet red fruit, wild berry notes. Youthful, but quite rounded on the palate. Slightly lighter in terms of body here, I would talk about mid-weight with juicy red fruit. Quite soft in terms of tannin. Oak is I think well managed here, we have some roasted and spicy notes here, but the finish is still dominated by that opulent red fruit. Good freshness as well. It has a good length too, not explosive but still persistent on the palate. My conclusion would be: young wine, lighter vintage, but well-made, particularly with well-integrated oak, good freshness and attractive fruit; to drink in its fair youth.
