France,
Bordeaux,
Medium toward deep ruby-red colour. Generous nose there, showing a nice purity of fruit, quite ripe dark berries, with a plum, a gentle hint of smoke and some fine spices, quite discreet in terms of oak. A bit more than medium weight on the palate, it has some nice core and density of fruit. I think the oak is showing a little more on the plate, but still with a good gripe of that juicy, dark fruitiness, with that plum and blackberry flavours. Now on the finish, I get a bit more of that roasted coffee, some vanilla spiciness. Doubtlessly modern, stylish and polish example. Nicely balanced, even if still appearing a bit young, but really fine potential there. In terms of extraction, it is nicely polished, good length and underlined by good brunt acidity all along. Fine example.
