Intense dark purple core with a slightly lighter ruby rim. Fragrant and layered nose displaying ripe cassis, plum, red berries with sage, mint and tobacco underlined by fine oak. The palate is broad and structured with ripe dark fruit flavours, yet underlined by a vibrant acidity, youthful but ripe tannin, a nice herbal spiciness and a long grippy finish. Still needing some time in the cellar but fine potential.
